These Kazuri Beads inspired the design of this necklace. The beads are made by families of the Kikuyu Tribe in Kenya from clay which comes Mt. Kenya. The green round bead has a diameter of 3/4″ and is set off by round copper tone glass beads 3/16″ in diameter) and decorated with tarnish resistant gold tone wire. The neck strand is made of double rings of tarnish resistant gold tone wire. The strand is also enhanced by tarnish resistant gold tone wire charms with round copper tone glass beads (3/16″ in diameter). The round clasp (5/8″ diameter) is gold plate and sterling silver. The necklace is 18″ long and hangs 12 1/2″ long and 1.7oz wt.
